    25 Days of Christmas: Day 2 Getting Scrooge into Spirit

    Raph was busy trying to ignore everyone and all the "Christmas cheer". Mikey had started calling him Scrooge again for not being happy and he was just annoyed by it all. Mikey had been bothering him all day without letting up. But it seemed the happy police had finally gotten the hint that Raph wasn't going to get into the "spirit" just by being told to do so.

    Mikey had left him alone for a good half hour now. Maybe he had given up? But just as Raph thought he had a moments peace and started to relax there was a knock at the door. Raph growled. "Go away!" He yelled. The knock came again. "It's me, Mikey! Open up. Please? I just have one more little thing t show you then I'll stop... For today anyway..." He said. Raph growled. "If I say know you're gonna stand there and knock 'till I give in, huh...?" He asked. Mikey giggled. "I'd be lying if I said no." he said. Raph rolled his eyes and got up. He went to the door and opened it.

    What he saw made him freeze. Mikey was holding his old, duck taped together, teddy bear. Raph frowned. "What did you bring that dumb thing here for?" He asked. Mikey smiled. "To remind you of when you actually liked Christmas." he said. Raph growled. "That wont help! I've hated Christmas my entire life!" he said. Mikey frowned. "Let me remind you then." He said.

    Nine years earlier

   A six year old Raphael was sitting in the tunnel just outside the lair. He was poking at a pile of debris with a long stick. He was supposed to be clearing it but the guilt was eating him alive that he hadn't found a Christmas present for his little brother Mikey. He had fount a book for Donnie and a plastic toy sword for Leo and even a better picture frame for Splinter's picture. He jabbed the stick at the pile extra hard and tried to pull it back but it had gotten stuck. Raph stood up and went to the pile to move the junk out of the way.

    What he saw made his gasp in shock and joy. Stuck to the other end of the sick, was a little brown teddy bear. Raph grinned and took it off the stick. Some of the fluff was falling out of the bear and Raph's smile faded. He looked around and found a role of duck tape. His smile returned and he started taping the holes closed.

    Christmas Day

    As everyone was opening their presents Mikey suddenly screamed. Splinter nearly dropped his tea cup until he realized it was a scream of joy. Mikey was hugging the teddy bear Raph had found. "RAPHIE THIS IS AMAZING!!!!" He yelled. Raph smiled a little. "You're welcome baby bro." He said. Mikey tackle hugged Raph, still holding the bear. Raph giggled and hugged back. They cuddled for a while and were inseparable for the next month.

    Back to current time

    Raph looked at Mikey with a slightly shocked expression. Mikey smiled a little and moved the bear a bit towards Raph a bit. Raph smiled softly and hugged Mikey. Mikey giggled. "Did I win?" He asked. Raph pulled away and put Mikey in a headlock. "Yeah sure. Whatever." he said. Mikey laughed and they both smiled. Raph let go of Mikey and they both smiled.
